Case Study 02 · Industrial Safety Signage

A brand-new listing, scaled from zero

Result seen after 6 months

Situation

A newly launched listing with no sales history and no organic ranking. In a competitive category, waiting for organic traffic to build on its own wasn't an option — the brand needed real velocity, fast.

Task

Build rank, reviews, and sales velocity fast enough to compete in an established category, using paid search to do the job organic traffic couldn't do yet.

Action

  1. 1Built the campaign structure from scratch around launch priorities rather than adapting a template built for a mature account.
  2. 2Prioritized aggressive coverage on relevant, high-intent search terms to build rank and review velocity quickly.
  3. 3Ran close, frequent search-term monitoring from week one so spend stayed pointed at real buyers, not noise, while the account had no history to lean on.
  4. 4Accepted a deliberately higher ACOS during the launch window as the cost of building velocity, rather than optimizing prematurely for efficiency.

ACOS moved up, not down — deliberately. Early in a launch, the goal isn't the lowest possible ACOS, it's building rank and review velocity fast enough to compete. That's a different call than the one I'd make on a mature account, and knowing the difference is the point.
